everyday is a special ocassion

Last time I wore this dress was Feb2018 which means that it's not a frequently worn piece in my wardrobe. But I'm keeping it anyway, because it's still a favourite of mine, one of the very first vintage dresses I found. As I'm determined to make the most of my wardrobe, I'm also determined to wear my good clothes, instead of saving them for special ocassions (which could or couldn't happen). Anyway, going to the market or running some errands are becoming important events these days!. And I dislike the idea of saving anything for good.

  1. What a fantastic dress, you are right to keep it even if you do not wear it frequently. I too still have most of the first batch of vintage dresses I bought, even if I do no longer wear one or two of them at all. And, especially in this day and age, it would be silly to keep things for best. Running errands is an occasion, so just go for it :-) The dress is just perfect layered up with the black turtleneck and crocheted vest, and your beret with the flower applique is gorgeous! Enjoy the rest of your long weekend, Monica! Besos xxx

  4. That is a beautiful dress! It looks great with the polo neck underneath. I'm surprised you haven't worn it more often; it's too lovely to hide in your wardrobe! I love your crochet waistcoat, too and you look very warm and stylish in your scarf, shearling coat and beret!

    Take care
