mixing prints

Last week was really busy, so we took a break on the weekend, a relaxing pause from computers and stuff. It's not that my weekends are stressful, actually I lead a 'quiet life'. However, even a quiet life is not quiet enough sometimes!
Last days I've been dressing some comfy and colorful outfits to keep my mood up, particularly some mixed prints. The tunic shirt was bought second hand in the Sunday street market, where some stalls are actually mountains of second hand clothes on a table. Not beautifully exhibited clothes, but it's funny if you go with a friend and have some chatting and laughs whereas rummaging!. And sometimes we have been very lucky!
Linking Visible Monday and wishing you a visible week!

Y a veces hemos tenido muchísima suerte!
Enlazo al Visible Monday y espero que tengáis una semana muy visible!

  2. Nothing like having a friend with you for making you bold enough to rummage through a tabletop piled high with clothes!
What gloriously colourful outfits, love the sarong worn as a skirt and that gorgeous Indian-looking tunic especially.
Colour certainly does help enhance our mood - and everyone who sees us dressed that way, too! xxx

  3. I know exactly what you mean and totally agree that sometimes a quiet life isn't quiet enough! Wearing comfy and colourful clothes often does trick our minds into happier mood than the one we're actually in. You've got such a wonderful way with colours and prints! Oh, and I love a good rummage! Many people do, apparently. When we participated in our local flea market, I put out a rack of beautifully displayed clothes but only started selling seriously when I put out my boxes of surplus stuff! Besos xxx

  6. That blue and turquoise blouse is just beautiful. I love it with both the scarf skirt and the blue trousers. Love those pink sandals and your blue painted toes. The pink gingham with the patterned trousers is a lovely mix. I do enjoy pattern mixing; especially the way you do it. The Frida necklace is brilliant!

I'm so looking forward to meeting you...

  7. I think people believe they have a better chance of finding something amazing in a messy pile of clothing rather than on a rack of neatly displayed items. Love all the candy colours!

  9. I love your pattern mixing in these outfits! I'm also really liking your glasses - are they new? I am thinking about some new ones and want a funky pair.

I love the Frida Kahlo necklace - I gave away a cuff today with her on it, to one of my coworkers who did not know who she was! I made her Google Frida right there and then!

    1. dear Sheila:
I own five pair of glasses and five more of (prescription) sunnies!, as a excuse I have to say that they're inexpensive and I wear them for decades!!. Having prescription lenses in my sunníes is fabulous!

  10. Oh I am so with you on living a quiet life (and indeed feeling that it isn't quiet enough at times)! :) I much prefer adventures in fashion, style and stories to the everyday hectic life many people lead.

Absolutely lovely combinations of great colors and patterns, thoroughly accessorized - your trademark indeed. Very Spring-like looks, dear Monica! Much love!
