orchids inspiration

I've picked one of my favorite shawls as a key piece to join 52 Pick-Me-Up: Orchid because it's kinda orchid shaded. Obviously, I added a printed shirt, accessories, a matchy bag, and lots of colors, because that's the way I'm used to dress up, layer over layer!

- leggings, La Redoute (old)
- shirt, Evans (old) / camisa
- yellow cardi, ebay / chaquetita amarilla
- floral brooch, a present by Sacramento / broche flores, un regalo de Sacramento
- shawl, a present / chal, un regalo
- bag, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada / bolso

Turquoise was not required, but it joint the party when I purchased a pair of floating pants and decided to wear them for a walk with my ol'comfy sneakers (which are actually 'vibrant orchid', Pantone color of the year!). So you can say I've been inspired by a bunch of crazy orchids, yes.

- new pants, Locaderremate / pantalón nuevo
- sneakers, Reebok (old) / zapatillas
- shirt-tunic, La Redoute (old) / camisa-túnica
- linen jacket, 4x4 (old) / chaqueta lino
- necklace, Dayaday (old) / collar

  1. You are just the champion of colour! That turquoise suit! Wow! And the same scarf works with turquoise as with yellow. But I must say I can't stop looking at your hair. I cut mine today and am trying to decide if I want it more shaved and asymmetrical. Yours is wonderful, with long plaits? XO JJ

  7. It is always so inspiration to see the way you mix colours. The orchid looks wonderful with yellow ( I love your shoulder bag!), but I wouldn't have thought to pair it with turquoise. Every part of that turquoise and orchid outfit is soo cool, from the flower print top to those awesome kicks.

  8. You may just float away in those awesome floaty pants. I bet they flap magnificently in the wind too, such a delicious feeling. And oh, your orchids are so fragrant. Great outfits! And the bling too.
