rainy weekend

We have had a busy weekend, as we met Mr.A.'s parents and his brother's family for Saturday lunch, at a typical restaurant in Burgos, a nearby city (an hour's distance by car). We were celebrating Mr.A's father's 80th birthday and it was decided that it was a great occasion to go to Burgos and eat roast lamb (a local specialty!).(See touristic info here and here).
We didn't have time to visit the famous Cathedral, but we could have a walk and take some pics, even if it was raining cats and dogs. Not the best time of the year to visit this place but we enjoyed our short excursion anyway (and food!, even if it's not suitable for vegetarians, sorry!).

  4. Happy birthday to your father in law, Monica! The perfect occasions to eat delicious sounding roast lamb (I'm not a vegetarian, obviously) at Burgos and sample its wonderful architecture. That cathedral does look magnificent. What a shame about the rain, but I guess you can't have it all! Besos xxx
