summer clothes & autumn

I'm used to wear my summer clothes until well into the winter, and I like to do it creating winter versions of my favorite summer outfits. This means some good old layering, like wearing tights under satiny pants, or turtlenecks under sundresses. I think these small tricks work nicely in my mild climate region, where snow doesn't last for many days. It would be different in a really cold Winter!
So I picked these floral printed pants, which were purchased on summer sales, and added a jacket, a coat, boots and a beret (usual Winter stuff!). Next day, I picked another pieces, but the idea was the same!. It felts like a really comfortable outfit through the day, as I went to work, then run errands and walked a lot, and it was like wearing my pijamas (once more!).
Wishing you a visible week, linking Visible Monday, and joining the party at Fake It Until You Make It.

  2. I am absolutely in love with your pants! And all the ensembles you created. I also love the idea of summer clothes in mild winter (our climate is similarly very mild)! I would like to experiment with my wardrobe in that way! <3

  3. I admire your ability to make your summer wardrobe last well into Autumn! My favourite is definitely the first outfit, the amazing floral trousers enhanced with the red turtleneck! I love how you not only layered your clothes, but your jewellery as well: those two necklaces together are fabulous. So is the "holiday jacket" of your second outfit, and the patchwork-like shawl. 6. Oh, wonderful! So great to see two such different outfits with the very same, high-impact trousers. I love them both as the injection of colour in the mostly black outfit, and as the harmonising piece with your autumnal colourful jacket and scarf. Truly splendid!
