(almost) red dresses #2

Red and teal/turquoise is one of my favorite color combos and I'm used to wear it frequently. I think that a red dress could be worn with many shades of blue, but turquoise works particularly well.
Adding a third color would create something more interesting, as tri-colored ensembles are considered more balanced. So I've worn some black with my first (almost) red dress, as it's a color which is dominant in its print, and worn some orange/tan to match second dress print. I like black because it always adds some graphic contrast, but I prefer something lighter and brighter, orange!
Time to join Visible Monday!

  3. Turquoise and red together are fantastic. I love how you've added the turquoise accessories with the red dress and cardigan. I think the tan works really well, too.

I love the red/orange dress you made and the brilliant striped jacket together. I do like how you layer your clothes and your berets are always fabulous. The bird brooch is so sweet...

  5. I agree with you on red and turquoise working well together, and you were very clever to add black as a third colour. I used to wear lots of black in my twenties, but now only wear it when it has a colourful print! You're even carrying a coordinating umbrella ... I love the bird brooch you added to your fabulous striped jacket! xxx

  7. Black is a great canvas for colorful outfits!! I love both. With black, it is very dramatic, and details really stand out. With orange, it is more playful and lighthearted! I don't think I ever wore red and turquoise together, but you do it irresistibly beautifully!

  9. I totally adore those turqoise boots and would say that they will enhance any outfit. Yes, I know that this post is about the red dresses, but the boots are so eyecatching I need to speak about them first, I'm sorry! As for the dresses, yes, they're both adorable, but I think the second one introducing the orange hue is my favourite. Your styling is so unique, always brave, bold and forevery joyful. Thank you x
