shopping your wardrobe

Shopping your wardrobe may seem just a motto. It may also seem a boring activity, wearing same old clothes again and again. But it's neither of them!. I think it can be a challenging and creative activity, because of all the different ensembles we can try, it's really inspiring!. And let us be honest, we have enough clothes in our wardrobes to mix and match for years and years, we are not in danger of running short of them!.
I've worn this same tunic and leggings many times and I think they make a versatile ensemble which can be accessorized in different ways. It can be both minimalistic and maximalistic, both casual or dressy, both subtle or bold. Obviously, I've never chosen the options which don't suit my own style (no neutral colors for me, please) but I know they're available and can be done in some fab styles.
So I've picked my yellow straw bag, a colorful necklace and some bracelets, but remember that lots of different colors and styles can be done!. I'd like to encourage you to wear something from your own wardrobe and accessorize it as you wish and feel free to wear it as many times as you like!. No fashion police is going to arrest you if you wear same outfit several times.
Enjoying #SlowFashionSeason and linking Secondhandseptember Party at Anne's even if not dressed in second hand (today).

  4. I too love shipping my wardrobe, and I'm the first to admit that it's so full to bursting that I can wear a different outfit every day for a year if I would be so inclined. Some items, like your wonderful linen tunic, can be worn time and again, and look different every time, by combining and accessorizing it differently. I think it looks especially summery with the cropped white leggings. Love those maps brooches you've made! Besos xxx

  5. Shopping one's wardrobe is a great exercise in creativity, I totally agree! I have to remind myself to do that - I don't always need something new-to-me to wear to have a great outfit. I love the gorgeous blue shade of this tunic, Monica! The map brooches caught my eye as well - I spy the UK and Italy!
