seaside

We went for a short outing to the coast and enjoyed a sunny day and a really pleasant temperature (a merely 25ºC with a light breeze). It would be a perfect beach day but we had other plans which included a short walk and lunch.
I wore my shawl for sunblocking as I didn't applied sunscreen on my shoulders as it was cloudy in the early morning. My arms were a little bit 'sunkissed' at the end of the day but I managed to avoid a sunburn!.

  1. Oh, wow, San Sebastian looks wonderful! Look at that beach! You and your mother-in-law looks just lovely in your loose summer dresses! I also prefer physical sunblock over that goop on my skin. A shawl is such a nice way to do that.

Ha, I laughed at that "dress" in the second outfit - oh, H&M...that is clearly a tunic!

As always, your colourful outfits make me smile. Wishing you a happy weekend!

  2. Your outing to the seaside looks totally fabulous, Monica, and so do you and Mr. A.'s Mum. Your maxi dress is gorgeous and how lucky you were you had that shawl with you. I experienced a similar thing on Sunday, when we went to a flea market. I'd slathered on sunblock, but it was still way too hot out in the sun, so I had to buy a scarf. I'm loving that gorgeous frilly top in your second outfit as well. Have a fabulous weekend, Monica! Besos xxx
