weekend in the (small) city

Autumn is here to stay and this means beautiful colors and wine harvest in the countryside and some secondhand fairs and street markets in our small city. This weekend we've stayed at home and visited the second hand books fair on Saturday. Weather was warm enough to wear a pair of closed toe sandals (and no jacket), so we enjoyed a nice walk and ran errands.
Though Sunday was rainy, we took our umbrellas and went for a walk too. I think this has been my last day going out barelegged, as weather has got colder!. I don't feel particularly happy about this!.
I'm becoming a huge fan of sneakers even with dresses which was something that horrified me a few years ago! You know, style evolves!
Linking Visible Monday and wishing you a visible week!

  2. What a fabulous outfit, Monica! That dress is simply divine. I love the black and white pattern mixing and the dashes of red provided by your scarf, brooch, bangle and sneakers. Love the brolly too! Also, love the intricate carving on the building in your last photo! That's just stunning! Besos xxx

  4. I love your maxi dress and it looks great with all the red. I love all the fab accessories especially the red lips brooch! The striped coat is a great look with the black patterned maxi and I think the sneaker look great because they are a contrasting colour. It's a brilliant look, Monica.

Sorry to hear the weather is getting colder...

  5. I love this dress and red sneakers look Monica. I saw a feature in a magazine yesterday saying this is a big trend for the forthcoming season and wondered if I might try it. You look fab with all of the red accents and certainly you're right that our style does evolve. Not many bare leg days left here either - I found my box of tights again in readiness for the big seasonal changeover. Summer has left our shores too!

    Have a super weekend!
