casual & autumn

These are some very casual pics of my outfit, taken by myself, setting my camera on a litter bin. You know I'm not a glamourous blogger, indeed!. Anyway, I'm linking to the fabulous Not Dressed as a Lamb: #IwillwearwhatIlike, with my casual style, which is really the one I manage to dress up everyday I go to work. I pick my clothes when it's still dark, and I dress up in ten to fifteen minutes, so there are some ensembles I'm used to resort to, and this is one of them. I'm not a huge fan of white crispy shirts, as I dislike preppy style, but wearing this one feels not so bad. A yellow cardi and an orange trench can cheer up any white shirt!
Everything looks better with some starfishes on your hair, and it's a nice idea when wind is blowing!

    p.s.
Balancing the camera on the bin (or "Bucket", as it is in Scotland) is hilarious and such a great idea! I just know mine would be in a million pieces on the floor...butter fingers....Ooops.

  3. I have a bit of a love/hate response to preppy things. You took the crisp white shirt and made it so much more interesting and I don't think anyone could accuse you of looking preppy at all! Love the pants and all the layers! Fantastic! xoxox

  4. A white shirt is always going to be more interesting than it sounds when you wear it, my dear! Add your trademark colour and print (and starfish), and you've got a fabulous outfit! xxx

  5. Everything IS better with Starfishes in your hair. Your outfits coordinate beautifully with the leaves in the background. I'm not a fan of white shirts either, but it does provide a nice layering piece for your bold coloured sweater and coat.
