skirts & purple

Showing some really old skirts and enjoying a hippie style, which it's this week's theme at 52 Pick-me-up: Woodstock Nation. Actually, my patchwork-style skirt was purchased when I was seventeen, and it's not something recovered from my lumber room, it has been in my daily wardrobe for ages, because even in my all-dressed-in-black younghood, there was some color. I don't remember if I had a great investment, but I think it's one of the best purchases I ever made.

- shirt, Punto Roma (old) / camisa
- orange necklace, Aïta (old) / collar naranja
- pendant, Silvereira / colgante
- sandals, Hush Puppies (old) / sandalias
- old sarong as a shawl / viejo pareo a modo de chal
- crochet starfishes hairpin / horquilla de estrellas de ganchillo
- old and revamped beach bag / bolso de playa viejo, tuneado.
- new ring, by Beataren at Etsy / anillo nuevo

Another hippie skirt, this one was bought at a flea market ten years ago. Love its color, but I don't know why it's so tricky to match. Something about proportions, I think. Anyway, it's going to my donate-sell pile very soon.

Looking very intellectual at the public library! And looking very visible to join Visible Monday, and fight any Monday blues!

- sandals, Clarks / sandalias
- necklace, local retailer / collar, Verde Doncella
- neckerchief, a present by The Citizen Rosebud / pañuelo, un regalo
