purple & layering

This weekend was quieter than expected, as I've been resting at home after twisting my ankle (once more!). So no walks nor running errands for me. However I had to go to the doctor and I decided to wear trousers to make things easier at medical consultation but also because I'd planned to wear some purple trousers. After showing my ankles (doesn't it sound cheeky old fashioned?) and dealing with usual red tape, I've had to rest for a couple of days and then visit my physiotherapist. But I still can walk and have no pain, which is good news!
Anyway, this is what I wore to go to the doctor and stuff. It was 3ºC (32ºF), so my shearling coat was a must. I had picked some printed shirts to wear them layered, short over long sleeves, and went for something quite matchy. I've realized that it would be good to spend more time shopping my wardrobe, as it provides plenty of opportunities to play with!.
Linking Visible Monday and wishing you a visible week and a slow fashion year.

I also tried on this short sleeved cardi / También probé con una chaqueta de manga corta.

- trousers, made of a jumpsuit (H&M) bought second hand, Sunday Street Market / pantalón, hecho de un mono enterizo del H&M comprado segunda mano en el mercadillo
- paisley shirt, Nymphaea Alba (retail) old / camisa, antigüita, de Nymphaea Alba
- short sleeved shirt, second hand, Sunday Street Market / camisa de manga corta, del mercadillo, segunda mano
- pink sneakers, Adidas outlet (old) / zapatillas
- necklace, Dayaday (old) / collar
- bracelets, a present / pulseras, un regalo
- shearling coat, Asos Marketplace boutique Bich (last winter) / abrigo piel vuelta, segunda mano Asos Marketplace boutique Bich (del invierno pasado)
- crochet beret / boina de ganchillo

Same floral shirt was worn previously here on Nov2019. I've decided that it would be more wearable (with skirts) if I shorten and fit it (projects pile up!). This kind of small changes can make a difference, so I usually take them in account when shopping second hand clothes. It's another major lesson learnt!.

- frida pendant, made by me (cardboard, beads and epoxy resin) / colgante Frida, hecho por mí, con cartón, cuentas y resina epoxy.

  2. I had a good chuckle at you showing your ankles, but seriously, a twisted ankle must be quite painful. But you must have been the best dressed - and most colourful - patient at the doctor's practice, I'm sure! I seriously love everything about your first outfit. And wow, purple corduroy trousers, how wonderful. And such an unusual, but very original, idea to wear those two blouses on top of each other. Love the colour of your bedroom walls! Besos xxx

  3. I think I have the same necklace as you in the second outfit but in different colours! We have the same taste!

I loved both your outfits. One, because you layer things so well; and second because the colours are always gorgeous! I love the paisley shirt and the big bold flowered one over it. The long sleeved shirt with the short sleeved one over again also looked so cool. I loved your co ordinating trousers, sneakers and berets. The shearling coat is so fab - and warm! I am surprised at how cold it gets in Spain; I don't think our temperatures have been so low other than on certain nights!

Hope your week is going well.
