This week it's not being very hot, so some light layers make their appearance: a shawl or jacket is compulsory in the early morning. These days I've worn my poppies dress twice, just changing some accessories, because it's really a comfy dress to wear and makes me feel nicely. Not a new dress, even its print has faded a little, and sometimes I think it's too dark to be worn in the middle of the summer, but who cares about those details when you're having fun wearing red poppies!
It's bank holiday here today, so it has been a short week indeed!. Wish you a nice weekend!

Esta semana no está haciendo mucho calor, así que he tenido que añadir alguna superposición: chales o chaquetas hacen falta por la mañana temprano. Estos días me he puesto este vestido de amapolas dos veces, tan sólo cambiando algunos accesorios, porque es un vestido comodísimo y me pone de buen humor. No es que sea un vestido nuevo, incluso se le están apagando un poco los colores, y a veces lo veo un poco oscuro para ponérselo en medio del verano, pero, qué importan estos detalles cuando te divierte tanto llevar esas amapolas rojas.
Hoy es fiesta, así que ha sido una semana muy corta. Y espero que tengáis un buen fin de semana!

Showing some really old skirts and enjoying a hippie style, which it's this week's theme at 52 Pick-me-up: Woodstock Nation. Actually, my patchwork-style skirt was purchased when I was seventeen, and it's not something recovered from my lumber room, it has been in my daily wardrobe for ages, because even in my all-dressed-in-black younghood, there was some color. I don't remember if I had a great investment, but I think it's one of the best purchases I ever made.

Realmente, esta falda estilo patchwork es de verdad de hace siglos, la compré cuando tenía unos diecisiete, y no es que la haya sacado del desván, es que siempre ha estado colgada en mi armario (incluso en mi época de ir toda vestida de negro, hubo sus toques de color!). No recuerdo si fue un gasto muy grande, pero creo que es una de las mejores inversiones que he hecho en mi vida!

Another hippie skirt, this one was bought at a flea market ten years ago. Love its color, but I don't know why it's so tricky to match. Something about proportions, I think. Anyway, it's going to my donate-sell pile very soon.

Otra falda estilo hippie, esta fue comprada en un mercadillo hace unos diez años. Me encanta el color, pero no sé porqué resulta tan difícil de combinar. Debe ser algo en las proporciones. Así que creo que se va a ir al montón de donar-vender, muy pronto.

52-Pick-Me-Up: Dessert is about dressing up like your favorite dessert this week!
I'm not a huge fan of sweets, but I asked Mr.A. about my favorite dessert and he answered me very quickly: moelleux au chocolat!. Because I have a weakness for chocolat. Plain chocolat, please. I'm even used to put some pure cocoa (without sugar) in my milk. That's the way I love it!
So I'm dressing in brown and black, like a fabulous moelleux au chocolat, with a touch of white which would represent a ball of ice cream!. Wish you like it!

Esta semana, el reto es vestirse como tu postre favorito en 52-Pick-Me-Up: Dessert.
Como no soy muy aficionada a los dulces, le pregunté a Mr.A. cuál creía él que es mi postre favorito, y me respondió enseguida: moelleux au chocolat!. Porque tengo una debilidad por el chocolate, el negro negrísimo. Incluso me pongo cacao puro (sin azúcar ni ná) en la leche. Me encanta!
Así que me he vestido en marrón y negro, como un fabuloso moelleux au chocolat, con un toque de blanco que podría representar una bola de helado!. Espero que os guste!

Rambling Flowers

Flowers are this time theme for Sharing In Style, so I'm wearing rambling flowers printed on my pants. It's not a traditional floral motif, but I prefer some geometrical-abstrac prints, particularly if they're bold and dramatic. So this is one of my favorites!!

Esta vez el tema para compartir estilo en Sharing In Style son las Flores, así que me he puesto estos pantalones estampados. No es que sean las típicas flores, pero hay que reconocer que prefiero los motivos geométricos-abstractos, en especial si son colores nítidos y llamativos. Así que este es uno de mis favoritos.
