Autumn Colours

We're having some chilly mornings this week (around 1 or 2ºC) and that means scarves and wool hats for me. So I'm totally embracing the new season, even if we had a sharp transition this year. Most summery items are packed and stored in spare room, no more straw bags around!. And I've brought back my usual cork bags and that colourful one I retail shopped last year. Further changes are that I did not pick dangle earrings which could get caught in scarves, nor massive bracelets that get stuck in my coat sleeve. I will still wear bijouterie and accessories, but comfort is first in my book!
Estamos teniendo unas mañanas muy fresquitas esta semana (alrededor de 1 ó 2 grados) y eso significa que las bufandas y gorros de lana están de vuelta. Por mi parte, estoy en modo otoñal totalmente, aunque el cambio de estación haya sido tan repentino. La mayoría de mis cosas de verano ya están guardadas en el cuarto de las visitas, ya no es momento para llevar bolsos de mimbre, y he traído de vuelta los bolsos de corcho y ese tan colorido que compré el año pasado. También hay otros cambios, como que ya no me pongo pendientes colgantes de los que pueden engancharse en la bufanda, ni tampoco pulseras enormes que se quedan atascadas en la manga del abrigo. Me seguiré poniendo bisutería y accesorios, pero sin que me incomoden, es mi prioridad!.

Saturday morning and I wore that Repeat Offender of a dress. It was recently acquired at Ulla Popken, and really my cup of tea, so lots of wearing. I paired it again with that Ulla Popken coat (I don't own an endless wardrobe of coats, so it's going to be a Systematic Repeat Offender, all winter long!) That's a crochet scarf, and new Adidas sneakers (outlet/sales). Really comfy and colourful for a walk and groceries shopping at local market (We lead such a wild life!)
Sábado por la mañana y un vestido de lo más reincidente. Lo compré hace poco en Ulla Popken y le estoy sacando partido, me lo pongo mucho. De nuevo con el abrigo de Ulla Popken también, porque no tengo un suministro infinito de abrigos, así que éste lo voy a llevar sistemáticamente todo el invierno. La bufandita es de ganchillo, y unas zapatillas nuevas de Adidas outlet. Muy cómoda y visible para dar una vuelta y hacer compra en el mercado (llevamos una vida tan salvaje!)

It was a quiet week, I just ran some errands after work, went to public library, did more groceries shopping and went for a walk or two. Usual slow lifestyle. That's what I wore to work and errands last Tuesday. I was trying to make the most of those summery trousers and also wear that colourful second hand blouse, so wore them together. Not completely happy with the 'short over long' effect (which usually is a favourite of mine) but I like the colours. That's my latest crochet cardi, sneakers by Nike (old) and retail shopped puff jacket (years ago). That necklace and earrings came from Vinted. Ancient brooch from my stash. Wool scarf by AlpagaLeMonde (old).
Tuvimos una semana muy tranquila, simplemente salí a hacer recados después del trabajo y a la biblioteca, hice alguna compra y también salí a caminar un poco. Una rutina que me gusta. Y esto es lo que me puse para ir a trabajar y luego hacer recados el pasado martes. Intentaba sacarles partido a estos pantalones de verano antes de guardarlos y también tenía esta blusa de segunda mano, así que los combiné. No sé si me salió muy bien la silueta de 'corto sobre largo', que suele gustarme, pero los colores sí que me van. Esta chaquetita de ganchillo es la última que hice, zapatillas Nike antiguas y la chaqueta acolchada de tienda local hace años. Collar y pendientes de Vinted. Broche antigüito.

That's my last attempt to wear 'shoulder season' items, like those turquoise-mint trousers (retail shopped years ago). And that second hand blouse was acquired at Sunday street market and I usually wear it with that crochet waistcoat (layers!) again and again, as here.
Este es mi último intento de ponerme ropa de entretiempo, como estos pantalones turquesa, de una tienda local, de hace años. Y la blusa de segunda mano es del mercadillo, suelo ponérmela con este mismo chaleco de ganchillo, una y otra vez (como aquí)

Another cold morning, so it was time for a (crochet) beret. Don't let the sunshine fool you, it was freezing!. Glad I picked a hat and that puff jacket. That dress (Vinted) is quite lightweight but it layers nicely!. Tights by Snag. Nike sneakers (old).
Otra mañana fría, así que ya llegó el momento de ponerse una boina (de ganchillo). No os dejéis engañar por el sol, estaba helando. Así que fue buena idea ponerse gorro de lana y la chaqueta acolchada. El vestido es de Vinted y bastante ligero, pero se puede superponer muy bien. Medias Snag. Zapatillas Nike (antiguas)
