Coming Back

I'm back at home after my southern holiday and Autumn has arrived while we were out and about. It feels like a time warp!. Even if I'm aware of the different climate 900km away and have experienced this change before, it doesn't cease to amaze me.
We had a nice road trip to our usual spot and drove back home (actually, Mr.A. did), so we stopped for a quick bite sometimes, and also stopped for the night at Caceres (where some delicious food was consumed). I didn't take a lot of photos once we arrived, but kept the tradition of posing in front of some amazing bouganvilleas.

This mushroom is actually a chocolate mousse over a biscuit!
I used to be a light packer when cheap flights were in the menu. But this has been a two weeks holiday, which is different, and last trips by car have changed my mind, so I packed two cases and my beach bag without any concerns. And then I went shopping!. I purchased a new cork bag, exactly same model that I bought last year (see here) only this time I picked the orange one. This dress was also new, from C&A (I had not been into a mall for years!).
Y además, he ido de compras.
This is my self-sewed beach bag, which I made from some tablecloth fabric leftovers. And added a fish bead!. I'm storing it now, along with my summer stuff, hoping to use it soon!.

  1. I'm pleased to hear you've had a wonderful and relaxing holiday, and that delicious food was consumed.
I'd have been very disappointed if there hadn't been any posing in front of those magnificent Bouganvilleas ;-)
Your new cork bag is a stunner, and so is that C&A dress. Well worth braving a shopping mall for! Besos xxx

  2. Gosh the food looks yummy and I adored the mushroom looking dessert - my favourite part of a meal always!

Your new dress and cork bag are fabulous. What great buys. I had no idea you could still buy C&A clothing; our shops closed down about 12 years ago and their clothing range can only be found in the charity shops or on eBay or other second-hand sites now.

I'm glad you've had a lovely two week break; hope you're feeling rested and revived!
    Have a great weekend

    1. Chocolate mousse is so fabulous!
There are C&A shops in many malls and main streets in Spain and Portugal, France etc. I'm not shopping new anymore, but find some C&A clothes second hand too!.

  3. I really like the cork bag. Glad you had a nice vacation. I haven't gone anywhere since October 2019 and I miss visiting my friends. Looks like no vacation away again this year, so I'm envious of your road trip. The food looks delicious, especially the Chocolate Mousse Mushroom.

Actually, I was tempted to buy also this same orange bag last year, but picked only the teal one. Then regretted!. Now I have these identical bags and I'm happy with them!
