yellow & spring

Spring is coming, despite the chilly mornings (3ºC / 37ºF) and cold wind. And sometimes we have four seasons in a day, and it's difficult to dress up for all of them. Usually I dress up accordingly with the weather forecast and hope for the best.
Now I'm working full time but also going for a walk every evening, crocheting, sewing and trying to have a (distanced) social life, so my blogging is being neglected (again). But I don't give up!
- turquoise trousers, CandA (old) / pantalón turquesa
- tunic, custom made by a local retailer (old) / túnica hecha a medida en una tienda local
- long cardigan, La Redoute (old) / chaqueta de punto
- scarf, charity market (old) / pañuelo, de un mercadillo solidario
- necklace, Ciclón (old) / collar
- brooch, made by myself (photocopy, beads and epoxy resin) / broche, hecho por mí (una fotocopia, unas cuentas y resina epoxy)
- sneakers, Reebok / zapatillas
- rain coat, Seasalt / abrigo impermeable
- trousers, made of a second hand jumpsuit by H&M / pantalón, hecho de un mono/enterizo de segunda mano del h&m
- green pullover, second hand, Sunday street market / jersey verde, de segunda mano del mercadillo
- short sleeved shirt, second hand / camisa de manga corta, de segunda mano - necklace, charity market (old) / collar, mercadillo solidario
- bracelets, a present / pulseras, un regalo
- sneakers, Adidas outlet (old) / zapatillas
Hope you're keeping yourselves safe and having your jabs!.

the 2.outfit is my favorite - huge print on the shirt and the wide trousers give you a cool standing.

    1. Thanks, Beate!. This is a favourite pair of trousers, floaty and cool!
The spring has already sprung here, so it's time to make the most of it, as our summer is not enjoyable like yours, we have yellow fields, dry landscapes (not a huge fan of summer myself!)

  3. Wonderful bold prints and vivid colour! It is tricky dressing for this time of year. The sun's gorgeous here this morning but it'll be polonecks and mittens when we go out in a bit, that wind can very cruelly cold! xxx

  4. I'm glad to hear you're not giving up on blogging in spite of your busy schedule. I often wonder what will happen when I have to return to work full-time, as now I'm used to doing everything at a leisurely pace, including blogging!
This is indeed a difficult time to get dressed, and I'm often stumped on what to wear. The only way to go is layering, I guess.
I'm loving both of your trademark colourful outfits, but the second one is my favourite. It's an absolute triumph in both colour and pattern, and it's definitely making my heart sing! Besos xxx

    1. I think that I'm a privileged, as I enjoyed an alternative work schedule, including some months at home!. But I've been engulfed by my own hobbies and activities, and have not the time for all of them anymore. I've been too ambitious!
And it's a nice season for us, layering lovers!.
Glad that you like my colourful outfits, they make me feel so much better! totally colour therapy!

  5. You are Spring personified! Love the yellow cardi and the scarf is beautiful. That's such a lovely pattern on the blouse in the second outfit photo. Raincoats are so useful and yours is fab. You are sounding very busy with work and craft projects.

  6. Oh, aren't you the most colourful person I've seen in forever!? I love your bright outfits, especially the second one.

I'm glad you're working full-time - I'm still at 24 hours a week, which has been hard both financially and mentally. I am registering for my jab tonight, and hopefully will be booked for it soon! Yay!

  7. It must be annoying to have to go back to work full time just as spring is coming and it's nice to go out and about... but it's good to have work. I'm still working from home and the garden is always very tempting. Are you feeling more energetic and better now that spring is properly starting?

    1. Dear Mim, you're right that it's good to have work. And it's a good work indeed!
Thanks for your comment, but I'm sorry to say that my energy level is quite low these days. Hope that my mood improves soon anyway.
