autumn & blues

Whatever the reason I've been wearing a lot of blue colour (turquoise, teal, ink blue, denim) last days. I've even worn my Cranes Dress twice in a row, and I am thinking on wearing more maxi dresses before the weather become rainy. I still don't wear tights and never wear nylons, (hate them, don't judge me), so I'm making the most of my last barelegged days of the season.

- dress, bought second hand and revamped to fit / vestido, comprado de segunda mano y reformado a mi medida
- turtleneck, La Redoute (old) / cuello vuelto
- cardi-net, 4x4 (old) / chaqueta-red
- raincoat, Lighthouse (old) / impermeable
- sneakers, Nike outlet (old) / zapatillas

This is my new bag recently purchased in Portugal when in holidays. Cork bags are available here too, but not the beautiful designs they had in the shop where I bought this one!. I like to buy local and sustainable if possible.
It's a comfortable bag, perfect to carry my thermoflask when going to work, almost a tote bag. And it doubles as a cross body bag when folded. Really useful!

I've been going for a walk every evening, as I like to be outdoors in this beautiful season and enjoy the colours and atmosphere. Even if I have to wear a mask, it's nice to be outside.

- trousers, Los Telares (old) / pantalón
- bag, Matties (old) / bolso
Hope you're keeping yourselves and others safe and as fabulous as possible.

  1. You look so beautiful in blue! The crane dress is absolutely stunning. I've never seen a bag made from cork, but am now intrigued, and must go look online for one.
I don't care for nylons either, but I still wear them because of old social conventions no one observes anymore ;)
    Habits are hard to break.
    Have a great week.

    1. Cork items are typically spanish and portuguese craftmanship, sometimes sold as souvenirs. And they're sustainable!
I think that those old social conventions are one of the reasons I hate nylons so much ;DD
Probably it's time to overcome all my f+ck*n traumas!

  2. Maybe wearing blue is a subconscious recognition that we will be seeing fewer blue skies, which we associate with summer? Or maybe you just love wearing that fabulous crane dress! It is one of my favourites. Love your multicolour outfit - the purple, blue and yellow combo is amazing.

I wear nylons and tights almost constantly. I dislike bare legs, and I have loads of varicose veins and spider veins that I prefer to hide.

    1. Totally agree that blue (particularly turquoise) makes me think on summery skies and joyful sunny days!. Glad you like colours too!
Dear Sheila, I also have loads of varicose veins, so visible than nylons can't hide them!. So I'm a huge fan of 80den tights! or maxi dresses!

And I'm so happy with this cork bag that I regret not buying another one in orange which was available! ;D

  5. Your Cranes maxi looks absolutely fabulous with the blue turtleneck worn underneath. Such a great idea! I'm loving both the polka dot cardigan and the crochet (net) one, which are both perfect layering pieces for this amazing dress. And talking of amazing: that cork bag is a stunner. Thank you for showing us a close-up! I'm loving your trousers and top outfit too, that's awesome pattern mixing! I have to confess I love wearing nylons and tights. Much for the same reason as Sheila, I have to add. I'll go bare-legged in Summer of course, but I'm always breathing a sigh of relief when I can cover my legs again :-) Besos xxx

    1. I'm a huge fan of turtlenecks as a layering piece, they work!. And I'm glad you like the cork bag, I'm wearing it everyday!
Mwhaha, I love tights, for the same reason as Sheila and you! (they hide a multitude of sins!). But never wear nylons, they don't hide my varicose veins and make me feel frumpy and sweaty in the summer. I'll go barelegged or will wear trousers until temperatures plummet!
      besos

    1. So glad you like turquoise and blue too!
The print was the reason to buy this dress!, it didn't fit me and had to revamp it, but I was so in love with the blue birds!
And I love to buy something locally made when in holidays, but not the typical souvenir!

Love the crane dress and your blue trouser outfits. Such lovely shades of blue and beautiful accessories as always. It's too chilly here to go without tights...
