I worn this same dress twice in a row, and this is something that I'm used to do very frequently. I like to mix and match different color combos around a new garment, from a sure-fire combo to more unexpected ones.
This dress was certainly an impulsive purchase, it was bought at Spitalfields Market in June, and I think that this chartreuse/olive green caught my eye, standing out from a lot of colorful wax prints. I've realized that many colors which were not my cup of tea, are now very appealing to me.
So I picked my mustard cardi and trusty tan boots to be worn with this dress. And then I found this matchy-matchy scarf in my shawls box, a happy find! (my shawls/scarves box is very well assorted!).
The next day I decided that adding some purple would be more interesting and more 'me' too!. And it was not so cold, so I went for a walk and some coffee and then Mr.A. took my pictures (notice: first coffee, then stuff). Finally, it was pretty colder than I expected, and I missed a jacket or cardi, but coffee and treats were really good so I enjoyed the morning anyway!
Wish you're enjoying your week (whatever the weather)

ResponderEliminarOoh, green dress, that certainly caught my attention, as it's my favourite colour. The dress is such a nice shade of green too. I like both versions, but the combination with purple is such a nice surprise! I actually bought a little cardigan today in exactly those colours. I love it that like me you have a box full of assorted scarves! Have a lovely and hopefully not too cold weekend, Monica. Besos xxx
