simply polka dots

It has been really cold these days, so I've been wearing my winter coats over some serious layering. This is a second- hand faux-fur coat, which is not the most comfortable one (too heavy!), but it's warm and (decadently) elegant. So it's a good piece to add some interest to cold days. And it was really cold the day I worn it!.
I worn a short sleeved cardi, because of the touch of red, and it was not a very sensible decision for a cold day. So I covered partially my arms with (long) crochet mittens. However, it would have been better to wear long sleeves!
Joining Visible Monday and wishing you a fab visible week!

This is a reversible shawl, and it was worn previously on the other side!

  3. Who can resist polka dots? Not me! I was wearing polka dots today, as well!

Your fur coat looks so snuggly and warm and yes it has been freezing weather the last couple of days. I love your reversible scarf it's very clever. The flowers on your beret look beautiful and add such a unique slant to your outfit.

  4. Those coats can be really heavy, can't they? I have a similar, but shorter one, but I admit I hardly ever wear it. You're looking warm and cozy, though. The dress you're wearing is gorgeous and I love the beret with the flower detail. Have a fab week too, Monica! Besos xxx

  5. I love this spotty dress Monica, and also the pattern of the shawl which works so well with it. The cardigan maybe would have been better with long sleeves, but your clever styling looks like you had this exact vision in mind! The red, black and white combination is quite restrained for you, but is all the more effective for that very reason. It's a great outfit, very classy!

  7. I love that polka dot print, especially with the red accessories. We are having a mild winter here, and I haven't needed to wear my really warm coats. I shouldn't complain, but I have a lot of coats, and I'm sad I haven't been able to wear the ones I really like!
