Working, Walking & Wearing

As I was editing my last photos I noticed that most of them look summery with lots of sunshine. However the reality is way different, as it has rained almost everyday, we're having a totally normal spring weather!. Everything looks a little bit sunnier in social media!.

Everything was 'business as usual' after our holiday, we came back into our usual quiet lifestyle. So we unpacked, put on the washing machine and went shopping groceries the next day. That's what I wore for that wild activity!. It was lovely to be back in the city and visit the local market.
Massive flower skirt was made of a second hand dress (I removed its wobbly top), also second hand t-shirt, shoes by Camper (old), lightweight puff coat by Ulla Popken, scarf was a present by Mom, bag was retail shopped years ago, sunnies were a present by my friend M.

It was not particularly chilly on my first day at work, only rainy. So I picked that sundress which came from Vinted (label Toscane) and a black cardi (PuntRoma, ages old), but added a rain-resistant piece, that neon windbreaker (retail shopped). Some 'leafy' accessories came out to play too, my earrings (by MateriaRica) and that cute brooch made of little leaves (which was a present by Veronica). Necklace was charity shopped.
It was a Repeat Offender kind of day, as I picked same dress and same colour combo next day. That citron colour cardi was a second hand find at Sunday street market. Black jacket by Seasalt (years ago) and black sneakers by Adidas outlet. Charity shopped brooch.

The weather has been unpredictable, as usual. We have had gloriously warm days, around 20ºC, and then suddenly changed to rainy, windy and chilly days (single digits in the mornings!, even under 5ºC). Layers to the rescue!

Retail shopped orange puff jacket, with a dress from Vinted and some Adidas outlet sneakers. Charity shopped necklace and retail shopped earrings. I picked that green purse which I recently had its handles revamped by my fav cobbler.

That's what I wore on Friday, when we had another chilly day (and there's not heating at my office anymore). I found that polyester dress at Sunday street market last year, and usually paired it with my orange puff jacket, comfyandcolourful style. Not everybody's cup of tea, anyway, if you're interested, my coworkers didn't bait an eyelid. Second hand orange-red cardi, tights by Snag, shoes by Camper.

I've been taking photos when going for a walk, usually lots of colourful details caught my eye!. Naked branches and ominous skies looked very photogenic when I was going for a walk in the bleak midwinter, but those blooming trees and colourful tulips are way more joyful!
Going for a walk and running errands in second hand trousers, a really old pullover by PuntRoma, comfy shoes by Skechers, scarf by AlpagaMonde, and coat by Ulla Popken.

Have a fabulous week!

  1. So many lovely outfits. I cannot decide which one I like the most. The first outfit with the floral maxi skirt is gorgeous, but I also really like the second styling with the floral maxi dress. The third outfit with the dress is fantastic as well. The all red styling is fabulous as well. Perfect spring outfits.

  2. I love seeing your city streets!
An array of fabulous outfits, I love that vibrant mac, if you're going to dress for the rain that's the colour to do it in! The massive flower skirt is always a joy to see, I love it with the stripey yellow tee. The Toscana dress is gorgeous on you, no wonder you keep wearing it. I love the bold orange and navy leaf dress and how your walking outfit matches the yarn bombing on the tree.
That planting scene is wonderful, the UK municipal planting style is often garnish and regimented, that is fantastic! xxx

  3. So that is where all the rain has gone ... ;-)
But I'm glad that the under par weather hasn't affected your usual colourful style!
Always lovely to see the massive flower skirt, which looks particularly fetching with the striped t-shirt.
Love the neon windbreaker and the orange puffer you are wearing to combat the elements, and both Vinted dresses are an absolute delight. The polyester dress is very cute!
And what a magnificent display of Spring flowers, a true sight for sore eyes!
    Besos & abrazos xxx

  4. It’s so true how social media can create an illusion of perpetual sunshine, while the real world often has its own unpredictable charm. I appreciate your honesty in pointing this out. It’s refreshing to see a reminder that the beauty of the moment is still there, even on rainy days.
