before the rain

This is what I worn last week, when I payed a visit to the secondhand/used books fair, which was set up in a central city park. I always love a fair and I'm also a books geek, so I enjoyed it but didn't buy anything, because didn't find anything remarkably rare (anything that I couldn't find at my local public library). Such a fussy client!.
It was a warm evening, and I considered it as my last chance to wear sandals this year (it really was). Next days, temperatures plummeted and it even rained which was a welcome change (it helped with the remaining fires in the west of the country, which had been causing some dramatic situations)
Autumn is not being such a beautiful season as it was used to be. Drought and fire were not supposed to be invited.
Linking Visible Monday and Fake It Until You Make It, wishing you a nice week!

Enlazo a Visible Monday y también al Fake It Until You Make It y os deseo una buena semana.

It's a shame you didn't find any books to take your fancy but it's good to look, isn't it? xxx

  4. What a pity you didn't find anything to your liking at the market. But you're looking fab in the outfit with those groovy trousers! Surely wearing sandals this late is a first! Wow, and that dress of your second outfit is super cute! Your outfit is really vying for attention with that colourful backdrop wall! xxx

  5. That is a wonderful backdrop to your photos - colourful abstract art; you fit right in!

I love your crochet waistcoat;colourful trousers and the sandals are fab! The dress over leggings is so cute.I like how you put a striped top underneath it; I would never have thought of a striped top in a different colour and it works so well. A very pretty bag, too!

Have a lovely weekend; I've just come back from heat and sunshine to greyness and rain...

  6. Beautiful pop of colour in this post Monica, perfect for a last blast of summer. The weather has turned to fall here too - rainy and cold. No more sandals for me either.

I don't think I could come away from a book fair without having purchased at least one book.
