pink brocade & plaid

We've had our first spring-like weather weekend, and I was looking forward to wear this jacket that fabulous Sacramento sent to me, so I picked some pink clothes to match and a turquoise bag, that doesn't match but who cares. I don't own many pink clothes, but this shirt is one of the happy few: it's a man's shirt by a local designer, and I think it adds an interesting 80's vibe, and also an interesting 'short over long' layering. Obviously, this long boxy shirt is always better when worn with leggings, and even better if they're pink plaid leggins. Fun factor fashion!!
Today fabulous link-up parties, Visible Monday and IWillWearWhatILike

I was visiting Eme, one of my favorite retailers and designers, who is renewing her little shop with lots of pretty new dresses!

  2. I adore this outfit! Gosh all the pinks are heavenly together, from the deep hot pink of the shirt to the soft baby pink of the jacket and then those trousers! Fantastic. And the turquoise is the perfect complimentary yet contrasting colour to the pink.
And to finish it off you kindly posed in front of tulips for me (I know it was for me *cough*) one of my favourite flowers and darn it, if they're also not in a shade of purple-y/pinkiness. Too clever!

    Hahaha...a pink-fest.
I love how you have taken this super-girly shade and put your own stamp on it, with a gent's shirt and those epic trousers.
    A great look.

  6. Senora Allnut - you look fabulous in pink! The jacket is fabulous, the shirt is perfect and the leggings set it all off. The shoes are very cool and look very comfortable and I love the colour pop of turquoise bag. Definitely one of the best of your wonderful outfits.
