turquoise, blue & slow

Last week I've worn trousers and striped t-shirts almost all the time, not a very innovative ensemble but really comfortable for our unpredictable weather. It has been unseasonably hot some days actually, but chilly in the mornings. As these pics were taken early in the morning, I look warmly dressed. But I usually change into sandals as soon as I come home and also remove any warm clothes. 10ºC / 50ºF in the morning become easily 29ºC / 84ºF in the midday.
Even if it looks like good news to have such a warm autumn, drought is always a threat over our heads, so many people are worried. I know that missing the rain can look absurd to some of my northern friends, but we are missing it!!.
Linking Visible Monday and wishing you a visible week.
Also wishing you a slow fashion season too, as I'm keeping it slow and sustainable (and I'll do probably forever).

  3. If you're looking for some rain, it's here in Belgium. Or rather was: we had two and a half weeks when it rained almost every day. Finally, we had a dry weekend, with temperatures in the low twenties. 29°C does seem a lot for this time of year, and I imagine it's not easy to get dressed in the mornings when it's only 10°C. That requires a serious level of layering ;-) I'm loving both your colourful Autumn does Summer outfits, with a slight preference of the symphony of blues and greens in your first one! Besos xxx

  5. Lovely, lovely turquoise and so beautiful when teamed with green stripes. I love it all! I do love your cardigan in the second outfit photo; it's good to have texture as well as colour. You look fabulous and still so summery - even if you need a jacket in the morning! Fab accessories as always.

We've had lots of rain so I hope some of it is on its way to you...

  6. I love that first outfit so much - the colours and pattern-mixing is heavenly! Our region is a rainforest and we also get rather nervous when there's not enough rain. I complain about it, but we need it. I'll send some your way!
