colorful tunic & cold

The coats season is here to stay and that means loads of black everywhere. Even if I also wear a black coat sometimes, I still don't give up to the black uniformity. This time I've worn a new tunic and turquoise pants, a quite summery combo with some layering for comfort.
Anyway, I think that anybody could add a personal touch to a black coat, wearing a pair of bold shoes, a beautifully printed scarf or a cool hat, if you don't want to embrace a totally colorful style!

  1. Yay for color!!
I steer away from black--especially coats, but you're right. You could certainly add some pizzazz to them. But I like your pizzazziness better!

  3. Turquoise, mustard and a bit of rust - wonderful colours and you look lovely. So bright and cheerful on these cold, dark days. I love that scarf and it goes marvellously with the tunic. I love the layered look.

    Keep warm!

  7. I agree with the other commenters - that is a outfit full of joy! I don't know why everyone resorts to black winter coats, especially when Winter is the time we need an injection of colour! My hot pink coat always gets lots of compliments.

  9. I think I own one black outerwear coat, a leather one. I prefer bright coats for outdoors, so that I can be seen in traffic! I love this wonderful aqua outfit - so much colour, pattern and texture. Yes!
