March & Spring

I'm trying to make the most of my winter wardrobe, so I've picked some (neglected) dresses to give them a last airing, as spring is coming and I'm storing my winter clothes!. The weather has improved after some rainy days, days are longer, daisies are blooming everywhere and I'm trying my best to enjoy spring despite it usually means allergies and a seasonal affective disorder for me. Not my favourite season, but I work on finding a silver lining.
I've been tempted by second hand apps and indulged myself with another sundress, which I'm saying to myself that I need (that's very questionable!). So my next move will be a massive decluttering of my spring-summer wardrobe, taking advantage of my Easter holidays (I lead such a wild life!)

It was still chilly in the mornings last week, so I wore some knit layers (under my coat). That dress was shopped ten years ago, but still rocking, as it's really warm and comfy. I always wear a turtleneck or a long sleeved t-shirt under that dress (another fashion nonsense: short sleeved winter dresses). And I added another colourful layer, my crochet cardi-vest. Matchy yellow boots by Northface (outlet).

That gauze dress came from Vinted some weeks ago, and I wore it previously in a very similar ensemble (obviously, wore same shearling coat to keep me toasty in a gauze dress when it's 3ºC in the morning!). Bolero cardi was a second hand find at Sunday street market. That citron-yellow turtleneck was shopped retail. Shoes by Camper. Tights by Snag. Both necklace and brooch were charity shopped. Makeup by 3ina.

Another sunny but cold morning!. I was well wrapped in my polka dot coat (retail, some years ago) and that massive scarf (also retail)!. That floral skirt (CandA) was acquired second hand. Tights by Snag. Adidas sneakers (old). Very old crochet cardi. Vintage brooch came from a bric-a-brac shop. Necklace by Sfera (I own it a decade ago). Earrings by MateriaRica.
We went for our usual walk on Saturday morning, and even payed a visit to a charity shop (which was unsucccessful). There was a massive stock fair, with lots of stalls, in a centric square, so we took quiet side streets!. I wore another neglected dress, this one has been in my wardrobe for a decade too! (it was shopped at Asos). Tights by Snag. Adidas sneakers. Bolero cardi by Evans (ages old). Coat by Seasalt. Massive bag made by a local artisan.

That was what I wore on Monday (only) to go to work as I have an appointment with my podiatrist in the evening, so changed clothes (trousers!). It was windy in the morning, so it was difficult to take any picture!. I wore my trusty Seasalt coat (shopped it years ago), CandA dress (old) and tights by Snag. Shoes by Camper. Usual cork bag by Fine Cork Portugal.
Have a fabulous week!

  1. I've never understood short-sleeved Winter dresses - but have quite a few of these myself - but I'm guessing that is why long-sleeved t-shirts and polo necks were invented ;-) That first outfit is super cute!
I didn't at all mind seeing that gorgeous gauze dress again and swooned over that black floral C&A skirt and the Asos dress, both of which you styled to perfection!
Have a fabulous week - and weekend! - too Monica! Mil besos xxx

  2. I'm happy that you've packed away your Winter clothes and can unleash the more spring clothes once again. Here we're more likely to get snow in March and April than any other time of the year so despite the bulbs blooming, the birds nesting and temperatures reaching the giddy heights of 12°C I'm not packing anything away for a while yet!
I never get tired of seeing your fabulously colourful wardrobe and being inspired by your layering. That Vinted dress is gorgeous and yes, I've become addicted to it, too. Luckily I can sell any mistakes on our festival stall! xxx
