Lost in February

Last week I was not feeling my best, Real Winter Weather made a comeback and it was quite a shock. Actually, I repeated same outfits that I had worn previous weeks, so didn't feel like taking photos. At least I recovered my (good) mood on time to enjoy weekend with Mr.A. so the week had a good ending.

This is one of my fav outfits to pick when feeling uninspired, it's actually a 'fake suit' as shirt and trousers match but they were shopped in different occasions (both second hand). And purple is a favourite colour of mine. That cardi-thing was crocheted by me, years ago. Sneakers by Adidas outlet. Scarf was charity shopped. Bag by Eme.

Saturday dawned a crisp winter day, so we went for a walk and ran errands (haberdashery, charity shop, bakery). Didn't shop any clothes, just a bottle rack to add to our recently purchased (second hand) cupboard. I'll show you this corner as soon as possible, I have to paint the new rack to match the cupboard's colour (I'm that fussy!) but it's too cold to paint.
Wearing my jazzed up dress for a walk and apéro. It's a second hand dress, embellished by local designer Ramonak Workshop (I've recently taken another piece to her workshop, so more jazzed up clothes will appear here soon!). Tights by Snag. Sneakers by Adidas outlet. Coat was shopped retail (label Sophiacurvy).

Zapatillas Adidas (outlet). Abrigo de una tienda local, marca Sophiacurvy.
Our city has been mentioned at Washington Post, so cool!. Obviously, local newspapers also mentioned it. So funny to see some favourite places you visit frequently in the news (for a good reason ;D)

Have a fabulous week!

  1. I'm definitely hearing you, as I took haven't been feeling my best lately, and we're having another cold snap too. I guess our 'Primavera 01' bags have to wait a bit longer :-)
Glad to hear you recovered your good mood by the weekend, and that you were able to treat us to your fake suit and jazzed up dress, both of which I love.

  2. Glad to hear you're feeling more like yourself, Monica. The miserable cold weather can really get us down. Lovely outfits and what a fab piece of serendipity to find the matching top to the trousers in a different place/time; it happened to me, too.

    Hah, you're famous now!

  5. It's so easy to get down during the endless winter and how the weather constantly tricks us into thinking the worst of its over. Your fake suit is groovy and colourful and is just the thing to lift the spirits.
How exciting that your town was featured in The Washington Post. I'm not surprised, the snippets of it you show us are always beautiful. xxx
