Red Blouse & finds

We're under the menace of a heatwave now, the first one this year. These are not bad news at all, as last two years we had plenty of them, starting even in May or June. Having a few suffoccating days in August is (almost) totally normal and I can deal with it. I've created a 'heatwave capsule' in my wardrobe, which I'll surely show you here next week.

I'm wearing my rings once more, even if not at work (lots of hand-sanitiser). But it's nice to wear my rings for a while, it makes me feel more Me.

- sandals, Chiruca outlet / sandalias
- straw bag, Etsy (old) / bolso de paja
Meanwhile I've been having a pretty relaxing time, going for a brisk walk every evening, having our usual apéro on Saturday morning and even meeting a friend for a rummage. We payed a visit to second hand stalls at Sunday street market and had a lovely time chatting, but my booty was meagre.
I found some long sleeved shirts which have been stored until autumn, and a silk nightshirt by CandA. It's not my size but I plan to wear it open, as a duster shirt.

Summer nights are fabulous for a walk. This is the view from the (so called) Iron Bridge, where you can see the reflections of the stone bridge on the river. The building on the river bank was built in 1910 for industrial uses, but it's now a museum and showroom focused on Science. Do you like some brick and iron industrial architecture?

Hope your're keeping yourselves as safe and fabulous as possible!

Espero que todos sigáis lo mejor posible.

  1. Love the navy and red outfit; especially the jaunty neck scarf! I;m so glad you've managed to go for a rummage even if you didn't find much. Wearing that nightshirt as a duster is such a good idea and what a fabulous colour!

I liked the bridge and yes, I like some industrial architecture - more please!

  2. I agree with Vronni, I love your red, white and blue outfit and really like that longline denim jacket, too. It's got a great workwear vibe going on.
That C&A nightie is a great find, what a colour and a great idea to use it as a duster coat.
That bridge is magical, I love the reflection in teh water and that wonderful wrought iron panel.
One of my friend's mums has just bought a place in Spain. She spends half her time moaning about the rain when she's in Englang and the rest moaning about the heat when she's over there! xxx

  3. I've got a suitcase of heatwave clothes - which I guess is a kind of capsule too - but I haven't had cause to open it yet this year. I'm not complaining. Perhaps we'll have a wonderful September :-)
Like Vronni and Vix, I'm loving your jaunty red and navy outfit. The little polka dot scarf is a wonderful finishing touch to this fabulously accessorized outfit!
The silk C&A nightshirt is a gorgeous colour and will look fantastic worn as a duster.
Your Summer night walk photos are fabulous, that bridge does look magical! Besos xxx

  6. You look fabulous in red. I don't feel like me if I don't have on my rings - and I wear four of them daily, even sleep with them on (wedding ring, anniversary ring, girlfriend ring, jade ring).

Most of the older architecture here is brick and iron - your wonderful night picture is so soothing!
