sew much fun

I've been bitten hard by the sewing bug from last weekend, because I had a sewing morning with a friend on Saturday, and then I felt encouraged to sew a tunic by myself on Sunday. I've had this pattern for some time, it was designed by a local designer from one of my favorite tunics. She was used to sew some pieces by request, but not anymore, so she gave some patterns she had designed for me. Finally, I've used my (few) sewing skills, even if I couldn't match the print along the seams, because I hadn't enough fabric to do it. This is quite dissapointing, but I'll try it next time!
Wish you enjoy! (Linking I Will Wear What I Like)

(Enlazo al I Will Wear What I Like/'Me pondré lo que me plazca')

  4. What a nice bug! :) I think you've done an amazing job with your tunic! It isn't always possible to match the pattern, so don't feel bad about it - even professionals miss it sometimes, especially if there isn't enough fabric, there is just not much you can do about it. Beautiful work! Love your colorful outfit, as always, very cool and very comfy - your trademark! <3

  5. Bravo Monica - excellent sewing job on the tunic. I would never have noticed you didn't match the pattern. That was so nice for the woman to give you the patterns she had designed for you.
