think pink

Weather has been looking quite gloomy, so I've been taking my pics (almost) daily as a challenge to keep my mood. Some color therapy was also involved, particularly some pink which I put into my accessories. In my opinion, a colorful hat or scarf can make a difference!.

It was not forecasted any rain on Monday, so it rained (obviously). Glad that my shearling coat can deal with some light rain. I was looking forward to wear my wide leg trousers once more, with the addition of the recently purchased paisley shirt which has the same purple color. Love a serendipious (matchy) find!

- paisley shirt, same spot / camisa estampada, lo mismo
- boots, Clarks (old) / botitas
- cardi, crocheted by me / chaqueta ganchillo, hecha por mí
- shearling coat, second hand at Asos Marketplace / abrigo de piel vuelta
- scarf, a present (I bought this same in orange too) / pañuelo, un regalo (me compré el mismo en naranja)
- brooch, made by me / broche, hecho por mí
- new lipstick, Revlon (magenta) / nuevo lápiz de labios color magenta, de Revlon.

Tuesday was a crisp sunny day, wich means no more than 2-3ºC in the morning (36ºF), don't let sunshine fool you!
I wore a trusty outfit that I've worn many times, same old dress and same old crochet cardigan. I've lost count of how many times I wore this, but some of them were April2019, Dic2015, Nov2014, April2014, March2014, Oct2012 and first time Oct2012. Lots of times, actually.
I've tried to keep it practical, so I've worn same bag all the time because I dislike all the fuss of switching bags.

- dress, Asos (Praslin) old / vestido
- cardi, crocheted by me / chaqueta ganchillo, hecha por mí
- magenta tights, Snag / medias color magenta
- sneakers, Nike outlet (old) / zapatillas
- bag, Nonapapallona (old) / bolso, de Nonapapallona
- beret/hat, crocheted by me / gorro/boina, hecho por mí
- coat, La Redoute (old) / abrigo
- brooch, charity shop (old) / broche, de tienda Cáritas, hace tiempo

Hope you're having a fab week, whatever the weather

  1. That first outfit must be one of my all-time favourites of yours. What a feast of purples and pinks! The paisley blouse was indeed a very serendipitous find, as it seems to be made to be worn with these amazing trousers! Your second outfit is classic Monica, and I don't care how many times you've worn it, you're looking like a ray of sunshine in it, sunshine of the turquoise and pink kind ;-) Besos xxx

  2. Two fabulous Winter looks here, Monica! I love those huge flares and yes, the top is utterly perfect with them. What a find.
I know (and love) that crochet cardi, a splash of colour on a grey winter's day. xxx

  3. Blues and pinks are so good together! I must give it a try; I have a lot of blue in my wardrobes but very little pink. I just love your Frida brooch. Loved the paisley print shirt with the wide trousers and that beautiful floral dress with the crochet cardigan.

Thank goodness for your shearling coat which looks fab on you and must be so warm and cozy. I hate swapping bags over, too.

    Have a great week!

  4. Good job on keeping your spirits up with colour therapy. Wearing a rainbow helps you and anyone that spots you.

I have a trick for switching out my bags quickly, I have little mini bags inside, just two so I grab them and pop them in the other purse. I know there are also larger purse organizers that are meant to be easily popped from one bag into the next but my bags are so small I needed something small to work.
