I've been really busy last days, so couldn't post anything nor comment, but I've kept on taking photos (not totally the worst blogger ever). So these are some outfits I wore last week, and some other things that I hope you find entertaining.

This is a skirt I made from a strap dress, a really easy sewing project. Wore it to work in the morning under a sensible layering (mornings are chilly, 10ºC) and then I wore it in the evening for a walk (30ªC), the weather is becoming 'interesting'. It's a massive cotton skirt, the fabric is amazing and I think I'm going to make the most of the 3€ I paid for it!.
More typical spanish food!. This is my own gazpacho recipe, obviously you can make it your way!. Stale bread, peeled tomatoes, green peppers, garlic and a dressing of olive oil and wine vinegar. We have it for lunch with a baked fish as the main dish.

Another maxi skirt I made from another garment. This one was made of two second-hand scarves I bought at a charity market (last year!). The blouse was recently purchased in the Sunday street market, a boxy blouse that I've shortened and fitted. This little fix makes a difference. Necklace was a lovely present by Veronica

This is something we had for dinner some days ago. A tomato salad with some local cottage cheese. And some toasts I made with grilled chicken leftovers, mustard, peaches and goat cheese over a slice of crunchy rye bread. The chicken was marinated in yoghourt and dijon mustard. And the peaches were sliced and dressed with salt and balsamic vinegar. Little details for gourmets!
- t-shirt, CyA (old) / camiseta
- cardi, La Redoute (it was a wrapped cardi, but I removed the strips to wear it open) / chaqueta de punto, antes era una prenda que se cruzaba y ataba, pero le he quitado las tiras para llevarla abierta
- bag, Etsy (old) / bolso, de Etsy

This new blogger version is driving me crazy, so sorry if text looks a little bit disorganised!
Hope you're keeping yourselves safe and as fabulous as possible!

  1. Love the skirt made from the strappy dress. What a delightful print and colour. Lilac and orange are such a wonderful combo and the necklace you're wearing with it is fabulous. Runner-up is your second outfit, which is another triumph. Great masks too! And mouth-watering food! Don't worry about being a "bad blogger". I only took outfit photos once in my hectic week running up to my holiday! Besos xxx

  2. I'm having trouble with the new Blogger as well!
Your meals look perfect for summer eating-the peaches with mustard is a good idea. As always, your outfits are worth waiting for.

  3. I love your newly revamped skirt. The colours and the patterns are lovely and I loved it with your violet top. All the outfits were colourful and summery and so very you!

And as for the food - I was salivating...I love gazpacho. I first tasted it on my first visit to Spain some years ago.

    Take care

  5. It looks like you eat very healthy, delicious food. The full skirt is so pretty! I am a terrible blogger - I rarely post anymore and I always get behind in my commenting. When I am on my computer all day at work, I just don't want to look at it again after I finish my workday. I haven't tried the new Blogger format but I have heard that it can be difficult to work with.
