black skirts & summer

Last week we had some relief days when temperatures were summery but bearable (it was even cooler in the mornings 12-15ºC, 55ºF). So I was feeling more upbeat and went for some walks!. It's nice to be outside!. It was also nice to wear my new red t-shirt for the first time (a present I indulged myself for my birthday, made by a local designer). In case of doubt, wear Red!.
I took some photos by myself in the garage alley (glamour!)

- sandals, Chiruca outlet (old) / sandalias
- black cardi, La Redoute (old) / chaqueta negra
- straw bag, retail (old) / bolso de paja, tienda local

I wore another simple outfit next day, just a skirt and a t-shirt, but added some matchy accessories to make it more interesting!. Purple galore!. This vintage cotton skirt (80's?) was a present by Sacramento and it has a lovely wrinkled texture and some fav colors. Have to wear it more frequently and try different colors too!

- sandals, Chiruca outlet (old) / sandalias
- scarf, charity shop / pañuelo, Cáritas
- necklace, charity market (old) / collar, de un mercadillo solidario
- earrings, retail / pendientes, tienda local
- beach bag, embellished with crochet starfishes (old) / bolso de playa, adornado con estrellas de mar de ganchillo.

Hope you're safe and as fabulous as possible!

  1. Belated happy birthday! You look fab in your new T-shirt. We're now having a heatwave; it's like being in Spain.

  2. We're having a heatwave right with temperatures in the mid to high thirties, so I'm a little bit envious of your cooler mornings! I'll never get bored of your massive flower skirt, and I love how you combined it with your new red t-shirt. Would you believe I have the same mask? The turquoise one is gorgeous too! Sacramento's skirt is a delight and the purple t-shirt and multi-coloured necklace are perfect with it. I do remember those wrinkled skirts! I think you'd be able to combine it with many different colours as well. Hope you're having a relaxing and not too warm weekend :-) Besos xxx

  3. I'm glad things are a bit more comfortable for you and you're managing to get out and about a bit more before it heats up.
I absolutely love your birthday tee shirt, such a fab print, it's perfect with the massive flower skirt. Your 1980s skirt is fabulous, you van't beat turquoise and purple together. xxx
