Autumn is coming

Let's keep on usual weather talk, which can not be considered small talk anymore. As we've had our first frosts, even if it's still warm in the evenings, it's totally coats season. I tried my best to avoid it, but finally gave up. I wore this yellow cardi on last Monday, when it was still not freezy, but had to wrap myself in a coat every morning since then. I've also said goodbye to maryjanes and welcomed some sensible boots and shoes. So it looks like Autumn is coming finally, and it's November!.

This vintage 80's skirt is becoming a favourite of mine, despite not being everybody's cup of tea. Cardi by La Redoute (ages ago), shoes by Hotter (also ages ago) and Snag tights. Usual cork bag by Fine Cork Portugal. Bijouterie by Ciclón, and a second hand brooch.

Another purplelized and witchy outfit. I wore for the firt time this coat which was acquired in July!. Yes, I shopped a coat in the depths of a heatwave!, but it was half price and totally a bargain!. I think that quality coats (and boots) make a difference when Winter rears its ugly head!.
Tunic was sewed by me years ago, skirt and tights by Snag.

These photos were taken by my friend M. when we went for a coffee to a local (private) club which is settled in a magnificent building. Some architectural details are highly decadent, as the revolving door. Obviously, we are just visitors!.
Both trousers and shirt were purchased second hand at Sunday street market, on different occasions. Crochet cardi-thing made by me. Necklace acquired at a charity market, earrings and scarf from a flea market. Sneakers by Adidas outlet (old).

We went for a walk and ran errands on Saturday morning, it was a really warm day as soon as the sun was high, so no coat at all. I wore some second hand jeans and a twenty years old jacket, but shoes are new (by Camper). Brooch made by me, old scarf and even older necklace.
I asked Mr.A. to take some photos meanwhile I was alert to not miss the bus!.;DD

Have a fabulous week!

I do not mind wearing coats at all, but it's definitely time to get some warmer ones out of the closet.
The half-price black one is an absolute stunner!
Your first outfit is my favourite - such a delightful mix of colours and patterns - closely followed by the outfit you wore for meeting your friend in that posh private club! Besos xxx

  2. I'm not a fan of coats either - I prefer the feel of the sun on my bare arms - but for that black coat I'd make an exception, it's stunning and so you! Some inspiration Autumnal outfits here, Monica. I love the mustard cardi, the vintage 80s skirt, the pink cardi and those jeans with the whopping great turn-ups and those Campers are fab!
