I've been currently wearing my 'shoulder season' favourites, particularly the massive blue trousers. I acquired them at a second hand stall in a street market and it costed me 2€. Not a bad price for a quality piece which looks like a design piece (interesting pattern, good confection, heavy cotton fabric). Totally a lucky find!
Charity shopped striped t-shirt, Adidas sneakers, crochet cardi, necklace from Vinted.
Matchy colours!. Even if I still like some black colour, particularly in dramatic patterns, I don't feel like wearing lots of it anymore. So that's not a favourite outfit, but a comfy, walkable outfit that worked nicely for a day at the office and then some groceries shopping, no fuss!.
Everything second hand (Sunday street market) except Seasalt trench jacket and Adidas sneakers. Usual cork bag by Fine Cork Portugal. Back to my colourful self, I wore my 'bold pastels' pullover (thanks to Beate for that naming!) with some pink trousers (they were retail shopped when on holiday). And I had to add another layer, a rain&wind proof layer, so I picked my neon windbreaker which is a really practical piece (and highly visible too). And that was what I wore on Friday to wave goodbye to an hectic work week and some anxiety inducing plans for next weeks (which I will tell you soon!). But still blogging!
Mom gave me that amazing set during our last visit. It's homegrown vintage, as it has been at home for ages (fifty years!). I feel a little bit intimidated by porcelain but what's the point in having homeware that you never use?. I'll serve coffee to my friends in fine porcelain!. It's a 'merienda' set, so it includes dessert plates, coffee cups with their saucers, and a serving platter. If you're interested, 'merienda' is similar to afternoon tea in Spain, only that we don't have tea!. Sometimes it's just an early dinner that we call merienda-cena (not all spanish people have dinner at ten in the night) but traditionally it's a light meal that includes sandwiches, pastries or snacks and some coffee or hot cocoa for children. We take our food seriously!
Have a fabulous week.
beautiful porzellain! love the "kapuziner kresse" design - one of may fav flowers...... and as you may know already i do serve coffee - or tea - and snacks to my friends in elegant vintage porzellaine too.
ResponderEliminarthe blue balloon trousers are totally fabulous!! and they work beautifully with your DIY crochet cardies.... cool rain coat colour - makes good mood in gray weather :-D (we have strange, to cold weather too - and had a drought already which was followed by some rain the last 5 days. i still wear my woolens!)
fingers crossed for your plans and thanx for the shout out <3
xxxx
Those massive blue trousers definitely deserve to be three-time repeat offenders, and the colour of those pink trousers is absolutely delightful. It's Spring personified, and your "bold pastels" pullover is just perfect with it.
ResponderEliminarI'm sorry to hear your weather is still not up to scratch. Ours is marginally better but still quite up and down. Also hearing you on the hectic office days. We're having an "epidemic" of problems at the office lately, not fun at all.
Your Mum's homegrown vintage "merienda" set is gorgeous, an absolute sight for sore eyes! Besos xxx
Your coffee set is gorgeous, what a wonderful thing to own! Thanks for introducing "merienda" to my vocabulary, I shall drop it into conversation the next time i chat to my friend who lives on the Costa del Sol!
ResponderEliminarOur weather is currently fabulous and I'm leaving the house at 7am in bare legs and no jacket. Its so much easier dressing when you don't need all the layers, isn't it?
I love those blue trousers especially with your incredible crochet creations and the peach trousers combined with the raincoat are a sight for sore eyes! xxx
Oh, those voluminous trousers are singing to me! The shape and colour is wonderful, and I also really love your neon windbreaker! I'm glad you're using that lovely "tea" set! Things are meant to be used!
ResponderEliminarThose unique blue trousers are so cool. Such an unusual cut and colour.
ResponderEliminarGreat outfits altogether!
