repeat, please

As I've told you before, I usually wear my clothes more than once in a row (no guilt, no shame). Actually, once I've created a favourite outfit, I wear it as many times as possible. I prefer to enjoy and wear what I already have, instead of investing all my energy in the search of new things. Don't get me wrong, I love rummaging and purchasing second hand clothes, love revamping them, and love all the mixing and matching different clothes. But I also feel that the clothes in my wardrobe deserve more airing, they deserve to go out to play!.
So I wore this ensemble and then wore same jacket with another skirt next day. Easy-peasy!. The one and only new thing are my shoes, and they were locally made and purchased at a local retailer (a small outlet store), which is ok for me. I wanted another pair of waterproof shoes as I have only a pair of black boots and my blue DrMartens (and nowadays I can't walk a lot in any of them: fussy feet!).
Linking Visible Monday and wishing you a visible monday and a slow fashion year!

  1. Yes, repeat please! Although I do have more than enough clothes to wear something different every day, there are those items I'm wearing on repeat. And surely that jacket is far too gorgeous to be worn once. It's looking equally fabulous with that gorgeous maxi and violet turtleneck as it does with that gorgeous turquoise and green print skirt. I'm loving your glass beaded necklaces and isn't Veronica's brooch delightful? Besos xxx

  2. Yes, I do this, too. Especially if I really like something... I love the skirts; both of them and the top is really great. Fab jewellery and of course you must have comfy shoes. I love your violet turtleneck and together all your colours sing in harmony!

  3. Oh, I love all these gorgeous colours together! They all seem to work so well. I also like to repeat outfits, but mine tend to be a year or more apart. I don't feel any guilt for my own shopping/giveaway cycle - I've been doing the slow fashion thing for decades!

Have a wonderful week, my dear!

  5. I never feel like I'm seeing the same outfits on you repeatedly, maybe because of the way you mix and match colours. If you have a formula that works for you and you feel good in it, why not repeat outfits. Even though I have a lot of clothes I find that I wear the same 10 pieces over and over but in new combinations.
