green & matchy

This is what I wore last week, when it was still quite warm and even sunny. I was trying to make the most of this new-to-me green pullover, recently purchased at sunday street market. It was supposed to go nicely with my massive flower skirt but didn't work! (actually, it looked awful). However I gave it a try (or two) and I've worn it in these matchy ensembles, so the colour is not a problem (anymore). Now the problem lies with its clingy fabric, which is not my cup of tea. So I'm not going to keep it, comfort is first!.
I'm not a Christmas huge fan, as I dislike crowds and consumerism and all the shopping frenzy. But I'm not a total scrooge (nor a grinch, despite dressed in green), as I love any chance to celebrate and have fun. So I wish you enjoy a fabulous time whatever you do!
Linking Visible Monday and wishing you a visible week and a slow fashion Christmas!

  1. What a shame about that pullover, as the colour looks lovely on you. But I agree that comfort comes first and I do hate anything clingy. Although I'm loving both of your outfits, it's the second one that truly makes my heart sing. That skirt is absolutely divine, and the necklace utterly fabulous. I'm also loving your orange opaques. Aren't those Christmas crowds horrible? I'm so glad it's my last working day of the year today, as it was utter hell trying to go out in my lunch break or go home after work. I'm not much of a Christmas fan, but no Grinch or Scrooge either. I just don't like the forced jollity of the holidays. Nevertheless, I'm wishing you a wonderful Christmas, whichever way you celebrate it! Besos xxx

  2. Those trousers in the top photos are amazing, you look fantastic!! I love Christmas as long as I can stay away from crowds and shops as much as possible. People get a little worse every year. But, thankfully, I did everything early and enjoyed the Christmas lights and events. Now, I am ready for a sleep, haha!! Besos xx

  3. I think the jumper looks fab on you. The colour is gorgeous and suits you. Sometimes things that fit well look better than loose but if you don't feel comfortable in it then it has to go. I loved it paired with purple and with the orange patterned skirt and tights. I love green with anything as its my favourite colour. Both your necklaces were amazing.

Wishing a wonderful festive season and very happy new Year!

  4. Love the colour play in the second outfit! I know what you mean about the curse of the clingy fabric. I'm not a big fan of Christmas either (at least not the commercial part of it) but I can enjoy the decorations, and getting together for a meal with friends. Wishing you a peaceful and happy holiday, however you choose to celebrate.

  5. That shade of green looks great on you, I love both ways you've worn it especially with that flower power skirt - just lovely.
I'm not a huge Xmas fan either but look forward to having fun with friends who normally have to work and, of course, our Xmas curry!
Have a brilliant Xmas both of you, hope I get to see you next year! xxx

  6. I love the way you've worn your green top, but if something's not comfortable, it's best to set it free to find a new home where it'll get worn. I hope you enjoyed a cosy celebration this Christmas!
