autumn colours

I'm coming back to my usual life after a long long weekend and I'm glad that it's sunny, because I can go for a walk and run errands. At least these were my plans, but I don't know if it's still possible to enjoy my activities in a relaxing atmosphere. I've been taken by surprise by all the lights switch fuss and the shopping frenzy, I hadn't noticed all this stuff coming!
Anyway this outfit (that I wore last week) still looks autumnal in my opinion. Even if I wore a summer dress (see it here), some layering and my shearling coat made it wearable for a chilly day. I'm so happy with this (second hand) coat that I've been searching the web for anything similar, even if I always try to avoid unnecessary duplications (here the key word is 'unnecessary' ;DDD)
It was a windy day and my hair didn't look its best, but this kind of things happen in Real Life!.
Linking Visible Monday and wishing you a visible week and a slow fashion autumn!

  1. I hope you had a lovely long weekend, Monica. At work I have a Spanish supplier who wasn't replying to my emails, and then I remembered you telling us in your blog that you had an extended weekend, and I wasn't quite so worried anymore ;-) Anyway, I'm loving how you "autumnized" that gorgeous floral maxi by adding green and purple layers, and then your shearling coat on top. Just fabulous, and I wish that there were more people like you out on the streets! Christmas frenzy has definitely started here as well. Besos xxx

  3. The over shopping for Christmas really is ridiculous. So many people get caught up in it.

    That coat looks cozy.

  4. Ugh! Light switch on! I could quite happily hibernate until Boxing Day, I'm so bored with photos of Xmas trees already!
On a happier note you look fab. I love the overblown roses on your dress, such a cheery outfit for a gloomy Walsall day! xxx

  5. Oh this floral dress is a dream, I love it so much!! I could hibernate until everything is over. I went to the Christmas market and that was enough for me, haha. Now, I am sleepy and worn out!! x

  6. I love this wonderful mix of magenta and green, Monica! My hair is just awful at this time of year - the dampness means it becomes a fuzzy mess. The curls that I photograph in the morning are gone by the time I get to work! I did one afternoon of Christmas shopping, and just need to do a little bit more and I'll be finished.
