street life & spring

Easter holiday provided us with plenty of fine weather days, so we could go for long walks with our visitors (my parents!) and also enjoy some of the city atmosphere, which was quite lively!. Not a lot of sunshine, but it was warm enough for summery clothes and light coats whereas it's rainy and chilly now (5-15ºC / 41-59ºF). I like to explain these things, because I always take my pictures in the best possible weather conditions, so sometimes it looks pretty better than it really is!.

Linking Visible Monday (late but still visible!)

  1. I love these street scenes and would love a wander down those cobbles!
Both your outfits are fabulous, fabulous printed pants and marvellous jewellery. It's damp, grey and cold here today, what a let down after our tropical weekend temperatures! xxx

  2. Our weather is an echo of what Vix described above - I tempted to light our fire!

I loved both outfits; love the patterns on the pants and the striped summer coat is lovely and a fab contrast to the floral trousers. Lovely cheerful colours and accessories as always.

It looks very busy and bustling in those city streets...

    Have a great weekend.

  3. Oh, I just love your colours, Monica. You are the queen of colour (and pattern-mixing)! Our weather is like that too - it's anywhere from 5-15, and it's rainy, sunny, windy, more rain, cold. Right now it's sunny but super-windy. They say about our weather, if you don't like it, just wait 10 minutes. Ha!

  4. The weather over the Easter weekend was gorgeous here as well, although by the looks of it we did have a bit more sunshine! Isn't it wonderful to be able to wear summery clothes again. I'm glad you and your parents were able to spend some quality time together, walking and visiting the city! Love both of your outfits, my favourite is the second one, with the striped summer coat worn over those exotic floral trousers! Besos xxx

  5. Our countries must be sharing weather. Over here it is bouncing back and forth as well. These inbetween seasons are wonderful and also perplexing. We have 12 degrees at the moment but wind and sun, so inside it feels nice to look at.
So glad you managed to have a nice sunny visit with your parents.
    so Jazzy Jack

  6. We've had a couple of "spring coat" days, but for the most part, it's still cold. These are great outfits; I especially like the orange jacket with those cool print pants.

  7. We had a frost the other night (picture me putting blankets over everything in the garden) and now it is just cold rain. You always look fab no matter the weather!
