red & dress

Even if our Winter is not extremely cold, there are some chilly days with snow and sleet which means sensible clothes and warm coats. I've been wearing my new-to-me shearling coat a lot (and some puffer coats too but this is not very interesting!) and I've had to solve the problem of picking a bag to be worn with a bulky coat. My usual cross-body bags are not suitable and my beach and straw bags are pretty unseasonable (I miss them!). So I was looking for tote handbags at my usual charity shops, until I realised that I already had some practical bags to carry all my stuff.
Same happened when I was looking for a pair of waterproof black boots and then I found these ones in the bottom of my closet. They only needed new insoles, more studs and a red string. And I'd almost discarded them last year!
I strongly recommend having a look into your own wardrobe before going shopping!.
Linking Visible Monday and wishing you a visible week!

  3. That shearling coat must be your best buy ever! I love how you upcycled those shoes by adding red laces. And as always I'm loving your wonderful use of colour. Nothing better to get us through the grey Winter days. It hasn't been really cold here either, with hardly any snow or sleet, but it's been raining almost non-stop. Bring on Spring! Besos xxx
