turquoise winter

Wearing a favorite color makes us feel more joyful (makes Winter less dull too) so I can't recommend it highly enough.
I've been wearing another pair of summery pants with a turquoise tunic. Turquoise galore!. However, I've realized that these pants don't work well with tights, as they create static and stick to my legs in an unsuitable way. This is the reason why I prefer to wear viscose pants with tights, viscose flows nicely!.
I think that this is my formula to dress up in a rush by picking some summer clothes even in the bleak winter: pants and long sleeved t-shirt. Hope you don't get bored with this!
Linking Visible Monday and wishing you a visible week!

  2. What better than a bit of turquoise to cheer up these grey winter days! And you really are the Queen of Turquoise, Monica. The colour suits you so well. When it's really cold out there, I'm wearing a lighter pair of tights under my opaques. Nice and cosy! Besos xxx

  3. I wondered about the static electricity. We have loads of that here in winter. I find I have issues with dresses and tights too. I've heard that if you attach a safety pin at the inner bottom hem it is supposed to get rid of the static. I haven't tried it yet to see if it actually works.

I'm a fan of bold colour, especially in winter.

  4. Turquoise is such a hot colour! I immediately associate it with warm weather so I think your idea is a very clever one. The trousers and tunic go so well together; I love pattern mixing. And of course your wonderful shearling coat keeps you warm and cosy...

Have a great week and stay warm!

  6. Even though most of my winter clothing is black or grey, I did purchase a hot pink down-filled winter jacket this year which I've been wearing a lot as it has been very cold here. Turquoise is such a happy colour!
