jungle & pink

As winter has reared its ugly head, wearing appropriate seasonal clothes looks like a sensible choice. But my winter clothes look particularly unappealing to me these days and I'm lucky enough to live in a quite warm region (well, we have had freezing temperatures but nothing really bad) so I've been wearing some of my summery pants. Obviously, I've worn tights under them!. And a really cozy coat!
I think that having a pair of great coats makes a difference and totally support the idea of buying the best quality coats you can afford. Do you agree?. (I would like to emphasize that second hand coats are quite affordable!)
Linking Visible Monday and wishing you a visible week. I look forward to catching up with all your blogs!

  2. I love those floral trousers, and they do work wonderfully for Winter too, especially with tights underneath. If it's really cold, I tend to wear a pair of sheer tights under my opaques, which is very effective. You're right that a good quality coat is essential, and that it does not have to break the bank when you're buying second hand. Most of my coats are second hand. And I see that you are still rocking that amazing second hand coat too. I love it worn open with the striped tee and crocheted hot pink cardie peeking out! Besos xxx

  3. You made the trousers and the cardi? How clever are you! Love this outfit; very colourful and a little bit of summer in the winter. Love your warm coats.

I've got a collection of winter weight capes and coats (and jackets) so my winter wear can be topped with different coats; with the exception of one they're all secondhand...

    Have a great week!

  4. You are lucky to have milder winter weather. We are getting a dusting of snow now and it is very depressing. I suppose I should be happy as we've managed to escape it until now. A rarity.

I find so many fantastic coats thrifting. They are everywhere! Some of them don't look like they were ever worn.

I love how your bright pants are such a colour explosion in winter.

  5. Great colours and patterns. We are headed into a very cold freeze this week-I could use a coat like that!

  6. I love that you're wearing bright colours - they are so cheery! Those are my favourite shoes of yours. I have built up a coat wardrobe of about 20 different ones. Victoria (BC, Canada) gets very distinct seasons, and I need 3 different types of coats, depending on the weather and the occasion: raincoats/wind-stoppers (mostly leather in my collection), cold-weather coats (a puffer, a couple of faux furs), and my dressy coats (usually lighter-weight). I like to match my outerwear to my outfits, hence the large collection. Nearly every single one is second-hand, too!

  7. I also need (at least) two different types of coats! and I totally admire your collection of leather coats, so fab!

  8. Yes, totally agree with you! We need coats to not only physically, but also emotionally survive cold seasons, and I think it is absolutely fine to have a few (in fact, I have JUST posted my thoughts about it on my blog too :). You look fantastic in your joyful colorful pants, pink cardigan and cozy coats. The one from the Marketplace looks chic! I bought a similar one in Goodwill, but haven't worn it yet - it is a bit too warm to tell the truth for our climate. Thank you for sharing the link! I didn't know that ASOS sells vintage clothing too.
