black coat & red coat

Once more, I've lived long enough to break my own rules!. I've bought a black coat, an absolutely normal puff coat, which is something I've (previously) blame on boring me to dead. Anyway, it was a heavy discount ítem, really comfortable to wear, so I was not able to resist it. A girl can't have too many cozy coats, as I'm concerned!. I've been wearing it a lot!

- tunic, custom made (old) / túnica, hecha a medida
- pants, C&A (old) / pantalón
- coat, retail / abrigo, tienda local
- striped t-shirt, C&A (old) / camiseta rayas
- sharong as a scarf, charity market (old) / pareo a modo de bufanda, mercadillo solidario
- boots, Clarks (old) / botas
- bag, by Nonapapallona / bolso

I was looking for a pair of black pants to wear with this tunic-blouse, but couldn't find anyone. So I picked a pair of black shorts which would look great with black tights. It would look like wearing leggings, quite flattering. Then I found these striped tights and 'fun factor' won the game over 'flattering factor'!
And I've worn my new red coat, but my striped coat would work too. I'm admiring how Fabulous Sheila rocks her orange leather shorts. So inspiring!!
Linking Fake It Until You Make It (and I've realized that it looks like I forgot my pants! ;DDD)

Enlazo al Fake It Until You Make It (y ya me he dado cuenta de que parece que no llevo pantalones! ;DDD)

  1. I love the colourful tunic, and what a brilliant idea to wear it with the shorts and striped tights, which remind me of one of my childhood heroines, Pippi Longstocking! Nothing wrong with your new puffy black jacket, especially not the way you are wearing it, surrounded by colour! Besos xxx

I love that fun factor won out. But they actually look very flattering too.
I will have to keep my shorts out when Summer finishes. xo Jazzy Jack

  4. I think you are allowed to break your own rules : ). I've also bought some black pieces in the last year and don't hate them anymore. Ha ha!

The rest of the outfit makes up for the colour lacking in the coat.

I love those striped leggings! What a blast!
