grey and cold autumn

I've taken a whole week off from work, making the most of the two bank holidays we have this week. This means that a lot of people are shopping like there was not tomorrow. Actually, I don't care by this kind of frenzy, I've been more interested in long walks nearby the river or in lounging on my couch (probably reading a book). I've been also crocheting some berets and sewing a pair of cushions. I'm that wild!
Linking Visible Monday and fabulous Fake It Until You Make It (go and vote for her!)

  1. How I envy you that you are able to take a week off. I could do with a break. You're so right to avoid the shopping madness and go for walks or lounge on your couch. Love the dress in your first outfit, and the crocheted beret. Clarks boots seem to last forever, don't they? The red plaid dress in your second outfit is fabulous. I think I really need a plaid dress! Enjoy the rest of your week off, Monica! Besos xxx

  2. You look so cozy and colourful in your lovely chevron striped coat and puffa coat! Love the berets and all the accessories. I also like very much how you've paired plaid and stripes - it works!

It's good you are having a week off and what you are doing sounds exactly what I would do too - if I wasn't retired!!

    Enjoy your time off.

  4. Having a week off at this time of year makes perfect sense! Woodland walks and reading are far preferable than coping with the crowds.
    Looking stunning. Fab jewellery! xxx
